Hymn

None But Christ Can Satisfy

O Christ, in Thee my soul hath found.

In Thee alone, the peace and joy I’ve sought so long

I long for rest and happiness

I yearned for them, not Thee

But His love laid hold on me.

I tried the broken cisterns,

But the water run out

And mocked me as I wailed.

The pleasures lost I sadly mourned,

But never wept for Thee,

Till Thy grace come upon me

Thy loveliness I see

Now none but Christ can satisfy,

None other name for me!

There’s love and life and lasting joy,

Lord Jesus, found in Thee.

Isaiah 61:10

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Psalms 16:11

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalms 116:7-8

Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.

Psalms 62:1

Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jeremiah 2:13

For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns—broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Matthew 11:17

And saying: ‘We played the flute for you, And you did not dance; We mourned to you, And you did not lament.’

Song of Solomon 2:14

O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.

John 6:35

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 15:11

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

A Shelter In The Time Of Storm

🍁  Greetings Bro & Sis In Christ

Blessed Sabbath!

☘️  The Lord’s our rock, in Him we hide.

A shelter in the time of storm

Whatever ill betide, there is no fear

A shade by day, defense by night,

The raging storms may surround us

But we’ll not leave our safe retreat.

O Lord, be thou our Refuge and Helper

A shelter in the time of storm

Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,

A weary land, a weary land

Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,

A shelter in the time of storm

•  Psalms 18: 2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

•  Psalms 91:2

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

•  Isaiah 25: 4

For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

•  Psalms 118: 6

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

•  Isaiah 41: 10

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

•  Psalms 23: 4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Saviour More Than Life To Me

Greetings Bro & Sis in Christ
Blessed Sabbath!

☘️ My Saviour is more than life to me
I will forever cling close to Him

Lead me gently through this changing world
Trusting Thee I cannot loose my way

Let me love Thee more and more
Till this fleeting life is o’er
Till my soul is lost in a brighter, world above.

Ev’ry day, ev’ry hour
Let me feel thy cleansing pow’r;
May Thy tender love to me
Bind me closer, closer, Lord, to Thee.

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
(Psalms 63: 3)

You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name.
(Deuteronomy 10: 20)

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
(Psalms 23: 3)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3: 5-6)

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8: 38-39)

Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.

I Know Who Holds Tomorrow

I don’t know about tomorrow

I just live from day to day

Even from its sunshine

The skies may turn to gray

Today I’ll walk beside Jesus

He knows what lies ahead

The steps are getting brighter

As I climb the golden stairs

The burden’s getting lighter

And the cloud is silver-lined

There is no tear to dim the eye

At the disappearing of the rainbow

Where the mountains touch the sky

I don’t know about tomorrow

It may bring me poverty

The One who feeds the sparrow

He stands by me

My path may be through the flame or flood

But He goes before me

And covered me with His blood

Many things about tomorrow

I don’t seem to understand

But I know who holds tomorrow

And I know who holds my hand

James 4: 14

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Matthew 6: 34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it1wself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Colossians 2: 6-7

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Isaiah 43: 2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Proverbs 18: 10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Deuteronomy 31: 8

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

For I am the Lord , your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
