I Know Who Holds Tomorrow

I don’t know about tomorrow

I just live from day to day

Even from its sunshine

The skies may turn to gray

Today I’ll walk beside Jesus

He knows what lies ahead

The steps are getting brighter

As I climb the golden stairs

The burden’s getting lighter

And the cloud is silver-lined

There is no tear to dim the eye

At the disappearing of the rainbow

Where the mountains touch the sky

I don’t know about tomorrow

It may bring me poverty

The One who feeds the sparrow

He stands by me

My path may be through the flame or flood

But He goes before me

And covered me with His blood

Many things about tomorrow

I don’t seem to understand

But I know who holds tomorrow

And I know who holds my hand

James 4: 14

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Matthew 6: 34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it1wself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Colossians 2: 6-7

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Isaiah 43: 2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Proverbs 18: 10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Deuteronomy 31: 8

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

For I am the Lord , your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

🎼 Higher Ground

Greetings Bro & Sis In Christ

Blessed Sabbath!

I’m pressing on and gaining new heights every day

Praying to the Lord to plant my feet on higher ground

Doubts arises and fear dismay

My heart has no desire to stay

My prayer and aim, are higher ground

Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled

My Faith has found the song of saints on higher ground

I want to catch a gleam of the glory bright

Meanwhile, I’ll pray till I have rested

O Lord, lead me on to higher ground

Lord, lift me up, and let me stand

By faith on Heaven’s tableland

A higher plane than I have found

Lord, plant my feet on higher ground

Philippians 3:14-18
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if at some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

Colossians 3: 1-2
Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Philippians 1: 23
I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;

Psalm 121: 1-2
I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

Proverbs 4: 18
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

Psalm 63: 3-4
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Psalm 143: 8
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

🍁  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever

(Heb. 13:8)

☘️  All the fame, status, and wealth of the world are not eternal

All enjoyment and happiness fly away and become nothing in the blink of an eye

Even one’s own life cannot be preserved.

Therefore, pursuing worldly things and relying on human intelligence are foolish and useless

☘️  Heaven and earth will perish but You remain the same and Your years will never end

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment.

Like clothing You will change them and they will be discarded.

But You remain the same, and Your years will never end.  (Psalms 102: 25-27)

☘️  We received a kingdom that cannot be shaken and may remain. So be thankful and worship God with reverence

To Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

See to it that you do not refuse Him who speaks.

If they did not escape when they refused Him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven?

At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”

The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken–that is, created things–so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12: 24-29)

☘️  With Jesus we can obtain something eternal, and valuable. Apart from Him, everything is empty, not worth pursuing and cannot be relied upon

By relying on the Lord wholeheartedly, recognizing the Lord, and relying on Him for everything, will we never change

☘️  Only Jesus Christ is unchanging. Not only does He Himself not change, but His relationship with us and His love for us will never change

🎼 My Wonderful Lord

Greetings Bro & Sis In Christ

Blessed Sabbath!

Since I yielded control of my body and soul to my wonderful Lord

I have found a deep peace and Joy

I desire that my life shall be directed by Thee

That what I do is according to Thy will

All my talents, I surrender it all at Thy feet

Thy approval shall be my reward

Thou are fairer, my wonderful Lord

Thy omnipotent, life-giving Word art worthy of all praise

My wonderful Lord, my wonderful Lord

By angels and seraphs in heaven adored

I bow at Thy shrine, my Savior divine

My wonderful, wonderful Lord

But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

Psalms 145: 3-5

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

Psalms 148: 1-2

Praise the Lord . Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his heavenly hosts.

🎼I Would Have The Saviour With Me

Greetings Bro & Sis In Christ
Blessed Sabbath!

I would have the Savior with me
So that I am not alone
I would feel His presence and His arm around me

Though my faith is weak
His words of comfort, no other voice can speak

My life go on through the tempest and sunshine
In the battle and the strife

The way, the Lord will guide
Till I reach the valley of Jordan
On the other side

Then my soul shall fear no ill
Let Him lead me where He will
I will go without a murmur
And His footsteps follow still

Joshua 1: 9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Psalms 32: 8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

2 Thessalonians 3: 3
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Psalms 118: 6
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
