Greetings Bro & Sis In Christ
Blessed Sabbath!
I’m pressing on and gaining new heights every day
Praying to the Lord to plant my feet on higher ground
Doubts arises and fear dismay
My heart has no desire to stay
My prayer and aim, are higher ground
Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled
My Faith has found the song of saints on higher ground
I want to catch a gleam of the glory bright
Meanwhile, I’ll pray till I have rested
O Lord, lead me on to higher ground
Lord, lift me up, and let me stand
By faith on Heaven’s tableland
A higher plane than I have found
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground
Philippians 3:14-18
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if at some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.
Colossians 3: 1-2
Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Philippians 1: 23
I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
Psalm 121: 1-2
I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Proverbs 4: 18
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
Psalm 63: 3-4
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Psalm 143: 8
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
